The Best B2B SEO Agencies, Vetted by an Agency Founder

B2B SEO agencies checked on their own sites in October 2026, covering SaaS, industrial and professional services, with published prices and the vetting checks I use.

Best B2B SEO agencies

B2B buyers research vendors long before they talk to sales. They search Google, read comparison pages and now ask ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google AI Mode which vendors to shortlist. A B2B SEO agency in 2026 has to earn the ranking and the mention in the AI answer, then show the result in your CRM.

I run Flying Cat, so I compete with every agency on this list. I checked each agency below on its own website in October 2026 for its services, the B2B industries it serves, named clients, published prices and location. Where a site leaves something out, I say so. This list covers B2B broadly, including industrial, manufacturing and professional services. For a list focused only on software companies, see our SaaS SEO agencies list.

How I vet a B2B SEO agency

I have hired, replaced and worked alongside SEO teams for more than 15 years. These are the checks I would want a prospect to run on Flying Cat.

They report on pipeline using your CRM definitions

Ask for a sample monthly report. Demo requests, quote requests and sales-accepted opportunities should lead it, with traffic and rankings as supporting signals. For an AI customer service platform we work with, every metric in the report carries its HubSpot field name and exact filter, so the client can reproduce each number in two minutes.

Their first plan targets decision-stage pages

B2B buying committees read comparison pages, alternatives pages, use-case pages and "best X" roundups when they choose a vendor. AI assistants cite the same pages. At an enterprise procurement platform, one decision-stage page converted at 17%, against 0.24% for high-traffic educational pages. Ask what the agency would publish in the first 90 days.

They know your sales cycle

A six-month enterprise deal and a self-serve trial need different content and different reporting. Ask the agency for an example client with a sales cycle like yours, and how it connected organic visits to closed deals for that client.

They measure AI visibility across a defined prompt set

AI answers change from one run to the next, so a single screenshot proves little. Ask how many prompts the agency tracks, how often each runs and across which assistants. We run each client prompt about 75 to 80 times a month across eight AI assistants. On that basis, D2L went from appearing in 12% to 33% of tracked AI answers between December 2025 and September 2026.

They name who does the work

Ask who writes your strategy, who writes the content and how many accounts that person carries. Senior-led agencies say so on their sites. Larger agencies staff accounts with a strategist and specialists, which suits companies that want breadth across channels.

FAQ

What does a B2B SEO agency do?

A B2B SEO agency grows qualified pipeline from organic search and AI assistants. The work covers keyword and prompt research, technical SEO, decision-stage content, link building and brand mentions, and reporting tied to the CRM. In 2026 it also tracks how often ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and Google AI Overviews name your company.

How is B2B SEO different from B2C SEO?

B2B SEO targets smaller search volumes, longer sales cycles and buying committees. A single comparison page with a few hundred visits a month can drive more pipeline than a blog post with thousands. Our guide to B2B SEO strategy for SaaS covers how to plan for that.

How long does B2B SEO take to show results?

Technical fixes can move signups within weeks. Softr saw paid signups rise 125% in the first two months from technical fixes alone. New content programs typically need six to twelve months to reach full pipeline impact.
