Who we are
Flying Cat is a founder-led SEO and AI search consultancy for B2B SaaS companies, based in Los Angeles. This policy covers personal data collected through flyingcatmarketing.com, our forms, our scheduling tools and our newsletter.

What we collect
- Details you give us. Name, work email, company website, the service you want, your budget range and how you heard about us, through our proposal form.
- Call details. The time you book, plus notes from the call. With your permission at the start of a call, we may record or transcribe it to prepare your proposal.
- Newsletter details. Your email address, if you subscribe to The Search Spot on Substack.
- Usage data. Pages visited, time on site, device, browser and approximate location from analytics cookies, once you accept them.
- Client data. Access to your analytics, Search Console and CMS during an engagement, covered by your contract.

Flying Cat sells zero personal data and shares it with zero advertisers.
International transfers
Some providers store data in the United States and other countries. For data from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, we rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework where a provider is certified, or on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
How long we keep it
- Inquiries and proposals, up to 24 months after our last contact.
- Client records, for the length of the engagement and the period tax and accounting law requires afterwards.
- Newsletter details, until you unsubscribe.
- Analytics data, for up to 14 months.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you can ask to access, correct, delete or export your data, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to withdraw consent at any time. California residents can also ask what categories of data we collect and how we use them.
Email hello@flyingcatmarketing.com and we will reply within one month. You can also contact your local data protection authority, such as the data protection authority in your country if you live in the European Economic Area.
How we protect it
We use providers with encryption, two-factor authentication and access controls, and we give access to client data only to the specialists working on that account.
