With vast experience managing projects in the translation and economic development industries, Pilar has a unique perspective when it comes to the ‘behind-the-scenes’ of implementing a project from start to finish. With a *healthy* obsession over bulleted lists and Excel sheets, Pilar helps the FCM team create awesome content on schedule, clearing any roadblocks that may come their way. Passionate about traveling and writing, she has combined both into her own blog after extensively traveling around Europe and North & Central America. In her free time, you can find her doing gardening, pottery, or chilling with a good film.

She has worked in content marketing for years and has been managing social media accounts since back when the timeline didn’t yet exist on Facebook and 99% of what people posted on Instagram was food. Varya has years of experience in business development for B2B startups and data analysis. She worships discipline, structure, and numbers and at the same time always communicates with humanity and compassion. As a Client Account Manager at FCM, Varya supports ambitious brands to exceed their goals. In her free time, Varya dances vogue, learns German and Chinese, and practices shibari. She’s living proof that not all Russians drink vodka, speak with strong Russian accent, and has no idea what small talk is.

Althaea did what many English Lit graduates do: became a copywriter. Her career began in communications at the University of Leeds, but she soon discovered a talent for editing after co-founding a digital platform for new writers. Now, she’s a content editor at Flying Cat. Specializing in SEO, she upholds our high content standards while championing the clients’ brand voice.

Before specializing in SEO as a writer and editor, Sam taught English as a foreign language in the UK (where he’s from), Canada (in beautiful Vancouver), and Mexico (where he lives now).
