Challenges we faced

  • Molly, Content Manager at Livestorm, was the first content marketing hire and was naturally wearing many hats. From rewriting website copy, doing keyword research, writing content, editing, and publishing, she was doing it all. 
  • She decided to get help by hiring freelance writers but far from being a solution, the challenge shifted from writing the pieces herself to having to manage the project and the writers. To her, that felt daunting, inconsistent, and unsustainable. 
  • Even after getting professional freelance writers on board, the blog failed to experience any significant growth.

Opportunities we seized

  • Realizing Molly’s overwhelming workload, she and her managers took a leap and hired us as their content writing partner to work alongside their own in-house SEO strategist. According to her, an agency was the only alternative they considered, as otherwise they’d have to hire several in-house people to deliver the same outcome.
    In October 2022, when their in-house SEO strategist left the company, Molly entrusted us with the strategy as well. The goal was to strengthen their authority in the keywords they wanted to rank for, as well as boost sign-ups.

Results

Molly went from having too much on her plate, to reclaiming precious time. FCM truly was an expansion of her team as the relationship felt seamless and she continued to trust our team with more work. With breathing space, she could now analyze the data, and focus on alternative ways of growing the organic revenue.

By working closely with FCM on the daily, Molly dug deeper into the world of  SEO, ultimately blossoming in her role to the extent that she secured a new position in 2023 as an SEO Manager.

As for Livestorm’s results, together we achieved an impressive +23.59% of YoY total organic conversions growth*, +40.17% of YoY traffic growth, and 10 to 20% in average MoM organic traffic growth.
